With so many new faces on the basketball team we want to give BGN readers the opportunity to get to know to know the new additions and become reacquainted with the returning group.

This week returning swing-man Sai'Quon Stone sits down and answers five questions that were submitted by BGN Readers.

5-Questions with Sai'Quon Stone

1) How are you recovering from last year's injury?

I am doing fine, thanks to our trainer Kevin McShan. He worked with me night and day every single day for two months straight and thanks to him I'm able to be here.

2) What was it like to have to sit and watch a program that you have been a big part of since your freshman year?

Very, very, very hard to see what the team was going through and not be able to help, not even a little bit. It just seemed they did not have some extra emotion I could have maybe brought.

3) Of the newcomers, who do you think will make the biggest impact?

Honestly! All of them. We have 10 newcomers and they are all capable of starting. They are so good I'm worried myself about getting playing time!

4) What will it take for this team to make the post season this year?

We just have to come out and prove a lot of people wrong. They overlook us so fast but, that could be to our advantage.

5) When you graduate, what will you take from your time at Southern Miss?

That anything is possible. Look at me, I'm about to graduate!
